Funding

Hospice of the North Coast is licensed by the state of California and certified by Medicare to receive Medicare and MediCal reimbursement. Many private insurance companies cover the cost of hospice care.

Primarily, Hospice of the North Coast services, especially bereavement and family and youth counseling, are supported by private contributions and grants, and from income from our Hospice Resale Shop, in Encinitas, CA. These vital funds support hospice activities and the many other programs such as Camp HOPE for children and their families, and other community outreach programs.

Your gift of cash, real estate, vehicle donations, stock, life insurance, trusts and bequests, and items for resale at Hospice Resale Shop will enhance the compassionate patient care provided by the Hospice of the North Coast staff.
