Healing Grief
Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A weekly bereavement group open to adults of all ages who have experienced the death of a loved one. No screening required.
Pathways Through Grief and Loss Psychoeducation Support Group
Tuesdays, 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A 26 week open, ongoing series of group meetings, offering education, discussion and processing on a variety of different grief topics for adults who have lost a
loved one. No screening required.
Parents Who Have Had a Child Die
1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
An on-going specialized group available for parents who have lost a child of any age, from any cause. Call for information.
Healing Grief Through Creative Journal Method, Level 1
Call for start date of next series A ten session group series using a variety of creative expressive tools to find and process one's unique path through grief,. No previous art experience necessary. A small fee is charged for this group.
Call for information on free introductory class. Screening required.
Stress Release Classes
Call for start date
An ongoing series of stress relieving exercises. Introduces gentle movements
to bring balance and peace into the bodies and spirits of individuals who are grieving. Time for processing follows each group session.
Caregivers Support Group
2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Available to all adult caregivers of the terminally ill in our community.
A safe place to find fellow travelers on a difficult journey to share resources
and support. No screening required.
Sudden and Traumatic Loss Group for Adults and Children
2nd and 4th Wedensday
A support group for adults and children ages 7 to 17 separate in groups who have
suffered the loss of a loved one through sudden and/or traumatic means. Reservation
interview required.
Mother Loss
Call for start date of next series
This group is designed to facilitate healthy grieving of adults who have lost their mothers at any age.
To attend, the participant must be at least 18 years of age and have lost his/her mother at least six
months prior to the group start date. This will be a closed, time limited, processing group series
for 10 weeks led by trained bereavement counselors. Space is limited and a screening interview is required.
Healing Through Grief Newsletter
This 12 month newsletter is available to families who have had a recent loss.
It is written to follow an individual through the first year of bereavement. Available
by phone request and donation.
