Services for Individuals, Children, Teens and Families

Individual, family and child counseling services are provided by professional counselors, interns and trainees. Appointments may be scheduled by phoning our hospice office. All services are offered on a donation per session basis. All bereavement services are provided at no charge for 13 months to families who have used Hospice of the North Coast services. Services are offered to nurture the body, mind and spirit.

Groups

Sudden & Traumatic Loss Support Group For Kids and Adults

2nd and 4th Wednesday
A group for children ages 7-17 and their parent(s) who have suffered the sudden loss of a loved one. Simultaneous group for adults. Call for a reservation.  Reservation interview required.

Teen Group

A group to help teens ages 13-19 who have experienced the death of someone close; provides education, guidance, art and peer support.  Call to register for an upcoming group and to schedule a screening interview.

Camp HOPE

A healing outdoor play experience, Camp Hope is an annual, overnight, weekend, family, bereavement camp based on a “Healing Outdoor Play Experience” with adventures, sharing and healing for grieving adults, teens and children.  Held at Green Oak Ranch in Vista.  Call for an application and to schedule a registraztion interview.
